Following the tax planning seminar which was held on 22nd October at The Octagon, AFG Law are going to have second seminar for the members who were not able to attend the first one.
We have therefore booked the second seminar to take place on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 AFG Law will be hosting a seminar offering guidance and insight in what steps landlords can, and should, be taking to best protect themselves when faced with such tax-related issues.
We will be joined by a range of expert, guest speakers, with topics covering such things as inheritance tax and capital gains tax, together with looking at what measures landlords can put in place to mitigate their tax liability.
Consideration will also be given to what legal steps can also be taken in conjunction with this – including the importance of having a Will in place, as well as Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Lunch will also be provided once the seminar has concluded.
The venue will again be The Octagon. The start time will be 10am, and it will last until 12:15pm, with lunch being served afterwards.
Places are limited to 10 and you will need to purchase a ticket for this event, the ticket will be fully refunded upon attendance.

We’ll have three speakers on the night with Leah Wilson from Rent Guarantor who will be giving a presentation remotely via Teams on the benefits of using Rent Guarantor , next up is Stephen Windle from Euro Energy Group who be discussing Government grant funding for heating and insulation in rental properties and finally we have Peter Horgan from Horgan Legal who be discussing the benefits of wills, LPAs & trusts.
The meeting is 7pm – 9.30pm
