The North West Landlords' Association was formed in 2002.
A group of dedicated private property owners formed the NWLA with the purpose of providing information, advice and mutual assistance for fellow property owners.
The association purpose is to improve the quality of the private rental sector by improving best practice and collaboration.
We have worked closely with local authorities for over 20 years to understand the need of the rental sector, ensuring compliance with regulations and improving the tenant experience.
The Association now supports a strong membership and continues to provide information, legal advice and assistance to private rental property owners. We collaborate with other local and national associations to represent you. We do this by attending and participating collaboratively on agendas at a national level for matters that concern our members.
The Association consists of its members, directors and administrative staff. Originally formed from the Manchester’s Flat Owners Association (est 1965), our past presidents and committee members have been working within the property sector for over 70 years.
Our past and current directors and committee members are all landlords, letting agents or work within the property sector, we work on a voluntary basis for the benefit of the association and its members.
Our office on New Hall Lane, Bolton is staffed by our friendly and experienced team that are available to answer all of your questions, provide help and advise on legal procedures and communicate all relevant information to our members. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
